✨ Teaching with Outreach Vietnam

Let’s take you through the places where these stories unfold…

We’re currently working at 3 different places

  • Community class
  • Loving school
  • Ky Quang Pagoda

COMMUNITY CLASS

Community class is a teaching place for all ages, mainly older people, children in difficult circumstances, unable to go to school but want to learn English. Volunteers can help:

  • Teaching English
  • Organize extracurricular activities for students
  • Donate books, pens, school supplies…

🌱 A Story of Learning: Ms. Loan’s Journey

At the age of 63, Ms. Loan could have chosen comfort and quiet afternoons. Instead, she chose a classroom. Every week, she walks into the community class with a notebook in hand and a heart wide open — ready to learn English alongside children and other elders. Her eyes light up when she masters a new word, and her laughter fills the room when she makes a mistake and learns from it.

This class isn’t just about grammar or vocabulary — it’s about dignity, connection, and the belief that learning has no age limit. For Ms. Loan and many others, it’s a place where dreams are rekindled, and where education becomes a bridge between generations, backgrounds, and hopes.

LOVING SCHOOL

The school is a shelter with over 180 students aged 6–17 studying in grades 1 to 5. They have various challenging circumstances such as being orphaned, living with grandparents, or having to support themselves after school. Volunteers can help:

  • Teaching English
  • Teach children to dance, sing,…
  • Donate books, pens, school supplies…

KY QUANG II PAGODA

Over nearly 30 years, thousands of children have been raised and brought into society by the monk and the pagoda, with many of them growing up to lead stable lives. Volunteers can help:

  • Teaching English
  • Organize extracurricular activities for students
  • Donate books, pens, school supplies…

Every program we run is built on heart, hope, and the belief that education can change lives. From teaching English to empowering communities, Outreach Vietnam thrives because of passionate volunteers who show up, listen, and lead with kindness. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or simply someone who wants to make a difference — there’s a place for you here. Your time, your smile, your story can spark something powerful in someone else’s life. So why not take the first step and become part of this meaningful movement?
